Central Java gubernatorial candidate number 01, Andika Perkasa, has confirmed that he is in the process of officially becoming a resident of Semarang, Central Java.
The news was directly confirmed by Andika following the third debate of the 2024 Central Java gubernatorial election held at the Muladi Dome of Diponegoro University, Semarang, on Wednesday evening (11/20/2024).
“We have officially moved and become residents of Semarang in accordance with the applicable procedures. For now, it’s just my wife and I who have relocated. Our children will remain in Jakarta,” Andika said on Wednesday.
For this purpose, Andika and his wife, Diah Erwiany Trisnamurti Hendrati, have completed the administrative process of transferring their residency to Semarang City.
“We plan to cast our votes at Mas Hendi’s residence in Lempongsari, Semarang City,” Andika revealed.
With only a few days left before voting day, Andika is committed to maximizing the remaining time to engage with the public and garner support.
“We have done our best. At this point, we leave it to the people of Central Java to make their choice,” he said.
Although acknowledging that he and Hendi started their campaign from a lagging position in the polls, Andika expressed optimism about their consistent progress.
“We began from a significant deficit, but we have continuously refined our strategies. From one survey to another, we have learned and adjusted our approach,” Andika concluded.
