The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, held a bilateral meeting with the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in Brazil on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. This meeting marked an important moment to strengthen bilateral relations between Indonesia and France across various sectors.

During the meeting, the two heads of state discussed several strategic issues that are shared priorities for Indonesia and France. President Prabowo also expressed his appreciation for the enhanced cooperation between Indonesia and France.

“We have many collaborations with France, many advancements,” said President Prabowo in a press statement to the media after the meeting, before departing for the United Kingdom to continue his series of official visits.

The Indonesia-France bilateral meeting was conducted in a warm and productive atmosphere, reflecting the close and evolving relationship between the two nations.
