Verstappen finished fifth in the Las Vegas race, earning 10 points, making him unreachable in the 2024 F1 standings. Overall, Verstappen has accumulated 403 points from 22 races. With two races remaining, he is now uncatchable by Lando Norris, who is in second place with 340 points. With this result, Max Verstappen has now won four Formula 1 world titles, equalling the records of Sebastian Vettel and Alain Prost. He is only behind Juan Manuel Fangio, Michael Schumacher, and Lewis Hamilton. “It’s been a very long season. We started very well. We were nearly unstoppable, but we had some difficulties,” Max Verstappen told Marca. “As a team, we held up well, tried to keep improving, and we should be proud of what everyone has done for me.” “Being here as a four-time world champion, I didn’t think it was possible,” he added.
