Jakarta – Today’s gold prices for Antam’s 24 Karat Precious Metals dropped significantly compared to yesterday. On Tuesday (November 26, 2024), gold prices fell by Rp 40,000 per gram, reaching Rp 1,499,000 per gram.
This Rp 40,000 per gram price drop is the steepest decline recorded this year. Based on precious metals data, Antam gold prices have only twice dropped by as much as Rp 30,000 this year: first on June 8, 2024, and second on November 7, 2024.
According to the official Logam Mulia Antam website, the smallest unit of gold, 0.5 grams, is now priced at Rp 799,500. Meanwhile, the price for 10 grams of gold is Rp 14,485,000, and the largest unit, 1,000 grams (1 kg), is priced at Rp 1,439,600,000.
Over the past week, Antam gold prices have fluctuated between Rp 1,470,000 and Rp 1,541,000 per gram. Meanwhile, over the past month, prices have ranged from Rp 1,466,000 to Rp 1,541,000 per gram.
Today’s buyback price for Antam gold also decreased by Rp 48,000 per gram, reaching Rp 1,347,000 per gram. The buyback price is the amount Antam will pay if you wish to sell your gold.
In accordance with Ministry of Finance Regulation (PMK) Number 34 of 2017, gold bar purchases are subject to a 0.9% Income Tax (PPh) 22. To obtain a lower tax rate of 0.45%, buyers must provide their Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) for the transaction.
