Jakarta – PDIP spokesperson Chico Hakim expressed confidence that candidate pair number 3, Pramono Anung-Rano Karno, will win the Jakarta Regional Election (Pilkada) in a single round. He believes there will be no second round in the Jakarta Pilkada.
“One round, no second round, alhamdulillah,” Chico told reporters on Thursday (November 28, 2024).
He expressed gratitude and appreciation to the people who voted for Pramono-Rano and the other candidates, saying that healthy democracy has returned to Jakarta.
“We are grateful and extend our thanks to the residents of Jakarta who participated in this Pilkada, whether they voted for Mas Pram and Bang Doel or for other candidates. Healthy democracy has returned to Jakarta,” he said.
“Hopefully, after this contest, all residents remain united and work together with Mas Pram and Bang Doel to build a more just, prosperous, and happy Jakarta,” he added.
According to the quick count results from four survey institutions, candidate pair number 3, Pramono-Rano, leads over candidate pair number 1, Ridwan Kamil-Suswono, followed by candidate pair number 2, Dharma-Kun.
