Jakarta – Honda has officially launched the latest generation Honda Amaze. The ‘entry level’ sedan has many advantages, from its luxurious appearance to its affordable selling price!
Reporting from Gaadiwaadi, Saturday (7/12), the new Honda Amaze was not launched in Indonesia, but in India. The vehicle received a number of updates compared to the previous model.
The newly launched Honda Amaze is the third generation model. The sedan looks luxurious at the front thanks to the use of a honeycomb-style grille and modern headlamps or headlights whose eyebrows are connected to the hood.
Luxurious nuances are also visible on the sides to the rear, including the selection of simple yet elegant single tone colors. The design is said to be inspired by the Honda Elevate and City.
The Honda Amaze has dimensions of 3,995 mm in length, 1,733 mm in width, 1,500 mm in height, 2,470 mm wheelbase and 172 mm ground clearance. These dimensions are quite compact for an urban car.
The new Honda Amaze has been equipped with a number of contemporary features, ranging from a large touchscreen that can connect with mobile phones via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto applications, a semi-digital 7-inch instrument panel, automatic climate control, six airbags, a reversing camera, ADAS and much more.
The car uses a 1,200cc VTEC gasoline engine with 90 PS of power and 110 NM of torque. The power is channeled to the wheels through a CVT transmission and a five-speed manual.
The third-generation Honda Amaze is already available at Indian dealerships. Local consumers who are interested in buying it only need to prepare a dowry starting from 7.99 lakh or around Rp 140 million. That’s a bargain, isn’t it?
