Jakarta – The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has established the Provincial Minimum Wage or UMP for 2025. Acting Governor of Jakarta, Teguh Setyabudi, stated that the determination of the provincial minimum wage for 2024 refers to Government Regulation (PP) number 16/2024 concerning Wages. “So, for the UMP, we also refer to the ministerial regulation that has been issued, ministerial regulation number 16 of 2024 concerning the determination of the minimum wage for 2025.” The determination of the DKI Jakarta minimum wage for 2025 is calculated using the formula from the Minister of Manpower’s regulation, with an increase of 6.5%,” said Teguh in Kebayoran, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (11/12/2024).
“Thus, the DKI Jakarta minimum wage for 2025 is Rp 5,396,761,” he continued.
He added that the increase in the UMP DKI Jakarta was 6.5 percent compared to the previous year. It is known that the UMP DKI Jakarta for 2024 was Rp 5,067,381.
The amount of this UMP also applies to workers/laborers with less than 1 year of work experience.
