Jakarta – The performance of civil servants worldwide has been evaluated by The Blavatnik School of Government, a public policy school at the University of Oxford, England. The result is that the performance of civil servants in Singapore is the best in the world. How about Indonesia?

Through the Blavatnik Index of Public Administration 2024 report or “Blavatnik Index 2024 Results,” Oxford University evaluates the performance of public administration in 120 countries. The index is calculated from 82 metrics derived from 17 data sources, which can measure the activities and performance of civil servants in various countries.

The data comes from various multilateral institutions (such as the UN or World Bank), academic projects (such as the University of Gothenburg), and non-governmental researchers.

The index also includes the selection of hundreds of countries through data coverage assessments that represent geographical regions, income levels, and widely dispersed population sizes.
