Jakarta – President Prabowo Subianto has requested that the construction of new infrastructure projects be halted for now. This directive also affects toll road projects.
This was revealed by Sony Sulaksono Wibowo, a member of the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) Stakeholder Element. He said the plan for the construction of new toll road projects will be put on hold while observing the strength of the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) in 2025. “There was an instruction from President Prabowo at that time to halt several major projects.” Well, the toll roads are also affected, but what we will hold first, what we will stop first, are the projects that have not yet started,” said Sony at the Media Gathering Nataru 2024/2025 ASTRA Infra Group in Amanaia Menteng, Jakarta, Tuesday (17/12/2024).
