The Indonesian national team qualifies as group champions if:
Indonesia and Myanmar both win, provided Indonesia wins by at least three goals and Myanmar’s victory score is not better than Indonesia’s. For example, if Indonesia wins by a three-goal margin against the Philippines (3-0, 4-1, etc.), then Myanmar can only win by a maximum of a two-goal margin.
The Indonesian national team qualifies as group runners-up if:
- They win against the Philippines and Vietnam draws; or win against Myanmar. (Vietnam 8 or 10 points, Indonesia 7 points).
- Indonesia vs the Philippines ends in a draw, but Vietnam wins against Myanmar. (Vietnam 10 points, Indonesia 5 points).
- Indonesia vs the Philippines and Vietnam vs Myanmar both end in a draw, but the score of Vietnam vs Myanmar must not be greater than Indonesia vs the Philippines. (Vietnam 8 points, Indonesia 5 points, Myanmar 5 points, but Indonesia has a better goal difference or head-to-head). Example: Indonesia 1-1 Philippines, Vietnam 0-0 Myanmar.
The Indonesian national team is eliminated if:
- They lose to the Philippines (Philippines 6 points, Indonesia 4 points).
- They draw with the Philippines, but Myanmar wins against Vietnam (Vietnam and Myanmar 7 points, Indonesia 5 points).
- Indonesia vs the Philippines and Vietnam vs Myanmar both end in a draw, but the score of Vietnam vs Myanmar is greater. (Vietnam 8 points, Myanmar 5 points, Indonesia 5 points, but Indonesia loses on goal difference). Example: Indonesia 0-0 Philippines, Vietnam 1-1 Myanmar.
