Jakarta – President Prabowo Subianto spoke about corruption in front of Indonesian students in Cairo, Egypt. Prabowo urged the corrupt to repent and return what they stole from the people.
“In these weeks, these months, I am giving an opportunity, giving a chance to repent, hey corruptors, or those who have ever felt they stole from the people, if you return what you stole, maybe we will forgive you, but return it,” Prabowo said in front of Indonesian students on Wednesday (18/12) yesterday.
Prabowo assured that he would provide a way to return the embezzled money. He can offer an option for the return of the people’s money to be done discreetly.
“We will provide an opportunity for the return to be done quietly, without being noticed, but it must be returned,” he said.
Not only that, Prabowo also warned those who have received facilities from the state to fulfill their obligations. He urged everyone to obey the existing laws.

“Then, you who have received facilities from the nation and the state, fulfill your obligations, as long as you fulfill your obligations, obey the law, that’s it, we face the future, we cannot go back,” he said.
Prabowo also warned that he would enforce the law if it could not be managed. He also assured that he would clean up the apparatus that are not loyal to the people, the nation, and the state.
“If you continue to be stubborn, what can we do, we will enforce the law, and for the apparatus, they must be loyal to the nation, the state, and the people, or loyal to other parties.” If you are loyal to the nation, the state, and the people, if you don’t believe it, I will clean up the apparatus of the Republic of Indonesia. And I am confident and believe that the Indonesian people are behind me,” he said.
