Cea, his close nickname, commented on his name not being included in the PBSI 2025 National Training Center (Pelatnas) squad.
His exclusion coincidentally occurred while he was in the recovery period from a severe knee injury. Christian suffered a severe knee injury while competing in the Malaysia Masters in May 2023.
In the semifinals of the Malaysia Masters 2023, Christian Adinata suddenly fell and collapsed in pain on the court while facing Indian player Prannoy H. S with a score of 17-19.
