Sex Party Disguised as Christmas & New Year Event in Canggu

Canggu – A sex and drug party involving foreigners in Canggu was uncovered by BNNP Bali officers. The sex party was disguised as a Christmas and New Year event.

The Bali Provincial National Narcotics Agency (BNNP) successfully uncovered a sex and drug party involving dozens of foreign nationals (WNA) at a villa in Canggu, Badung Regency, Bali.

The raid was conducted on Saturday (21/12) last weekend. From the raid, approximately 50 foreign nationals were apprehended by the officers.

The Head of Eradication at BNNP Bali, Kombes I Made Sinar Subawa, revealed that dozens of foreign nationals attended the event with special invitations and were required to pay a certain amount of money.

During the interrogation, several foreign nationals present at the villa claimed that the sex party was in celebration of Christmas and New Year 2025. However, the officers did not believe it just like that.

“We received information that the invitation was exclusive and those who attended had to pay a certain amount of money,” said Sinar Subawa during the year-end case release at his office on Monday (23/12/2024).

The sex and drug party was organized privately. Participants who attended included both singles and couples.

“The ones who came were girls and boys, some were couples.” Many of them do not know each other. Invitations are only given to people known by the organizers,” he revealed.

Sinar Subawa said that BNNP members and several tracking dogs searched every corner of the villa. The result was the discovery of narcotics types Benzo and THC. The drugs were found in the creases of the sofa.

“We found (narcotics) in those sofas.” We used K-9 (tracking dogs) to track in several places. Items suspected to be drugs were found,” said Sinar.

Out of the nine foreign nationals examined, one tested positive for THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), the active substance in cannabis. Meanwhile, seven people tested positive for consuming Benzo-type narcotics.

“There are two that we detained.” One of them did not show any indication of drug use. One more, he tested positive for THC,” said Sinar.

The foreign national who tested positive for THC is a man from Russia who also acted as the party organizer. Currently, he is still undergoing further examination.

By the officers, dozens of other foreign nationals present at the party were only recorded before being sent home.

“We recorded the data and sent it back,” he added.
