Jakarta -The case of the wife who ran over her husband, breaking his leg, has revealed new facts. The wife apparently went on vacation to Bali with her lover after the incident.
The police revealed the fact that Melody Sharon (31) did not regret running over and dragging her husband after catching him cheating in Cipayung, East Jakarta. Melody even went on vacation to Bali with her affair partner.
“Before being arrested, there was no feeling of regret because she never inquired about the condition of her husband and children.” “She even still went to Bali with her boyfriend,” said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly to reporters on Monday (23/12/2024).
However, after being arrested by the police and officially designated as a suspect, Melody only then admitted her regret. She even cried when expressing her regret.
“After being arrested and about to be detained, only then did he feel regret and guilt,” he said.
The police revealed that Melody was conscious when she ran over and dragged her husband with her car for a distance of 200 meters, causing his leg to break. The heinous act was committed because Melody was caught cheating. Not just one, but with two men at the same time.
Melody Sharon has been named a suspect and detained at the East Jakarta Metro Police. Melody was charged under Article 44 paragraph (2) of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 23 of 2004 concerning Domestic Violence (KDRT) for her heinous act against her husband.
Allegation of Adultery Being Investigated by the Police
Melody Sharon, the cruel wife who dragged her husband after catching him cheating, has also been reported for adultery. The report was filed at Polda Metro Jaya and registered under the number LP/B/7754/XII/2024/SPKT/POLDA METRO JAYA dated December 18, 2024.
Her legal husband, Mr. AG, reported under Article 284 concerning adultery. The reported parties in this case are Melody Sharon and the man suspected of being her lover, with the initials TS.
“Yes, we have received a report related to Article 284.” The complainant in this case is Mr. AG,” said the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi, to reporters on Saturday (21/12).
