Jakarta -The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra has become one of the most anticipated smartphones for 2025. Because of that, the leaks are always interesting to follow, including the latest one about its camera composition.
It is the leakers @AssembleDebug who recently revealed the camera specifications that Samsung will embed in the Galaxy S25 Ultra. He mentioned that the camera combination is not much different from the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra will continue to feature the 200MP main camera sensor that is already known from its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 Ultra. This sensor, known as ISOCELL HP2, offers high resolution that allows users to capture images with excellent detail and optimal performance in various lighting conditions.
The ultra-wide sector also receives special attention. Leaks mention that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be equipped with the new Samsung ISOCELL S5KJN3 sensor, commonly known as GN3.
This sensor is 50MP, which is expected to improve the quality of wide-angle photos and performance indoors or at night. This sensor replaces the 12MP sensor from the previous series, marking a significant step in image quality improvement.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra will have two telephoto lenses. First, the 12 MP telephoto lens uses the IMX754 Sensor with 3x optical zoom capability.
Second, a 50MP telephoto with a Sony IX854 sensor. Promising a 5x optical zoom that goes further without losing image detail.
Looking ahead, the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s selfie camera is rumored to use the 12MP ISOCELL S5K3LU sensor, offering sharp image quality for video calls and selfies.
This leak could be true or even false, as there are reports that the S25 Ultra will feature a telephoto camera designed by Samsung itself. Named ALoP (All Lenses on Prism), it is more compact and sophisticated, as quoted from GSM Arena.
For certainty, we must wait for the launch event. It is said that Samsung will hold Galaxy Unpacked on January 22, 2025.
