Mudya Mustamin, as a music observer, emphasized that this is a form of plagiarism. Not only that, cases like this can be taken to legal channels.
To be honest, the ones I’ve checked are not many, you could say it’s very rare for people to take legal action for plagiarism issues. Because what often happens is that we actually copy foreign songs. Not between Indonesian musicians, right?” said Mudya Mustamin.
Well, due to the limited popularity and the distance from Indonesia, the label or foreign musicians are unaware of the plagiarism in their work. This affects the lack of action to report the case to the legal realm.
