Jakarta – PT PLN (Persero) is offering another electricity capacity upgrade discount through its “Gebyar Awal Tahun 2025” program. Customers can receive up to a 50% discount on electricity capacity upgrades.
PLN’s Director of Retail and Commerce, Edi Srimulyanti, explained that customers can get a 50% discount on electricity upgrades by transacting through the PLN Mobile app. The promotion mechanism involves distributing e-vouchers to customers who make transactions via PLN Mobile. Customers can access the e-voucher through the rewards feature in the app or via email.
“The process is very simple. Customers only need to pay their electricity bill or purchase tokens through PLN Mobile, then claim the voucher. Once the applicable voucher code is entered and payment is confirmed, the local PLN unit will immediately process the capacity upgrade,” Edi said in an official statement on Friday (January 3, 2024).
Edi added that the promotion is only valid for customers who were registered before December 1, 2024. The promo applies to low-voltage, single-phase customers with capacities ranging from 450 Volt Ampere (VA) to 5,500 VA, who wish to upgrade to a maximum of 7,700 VA.
The 50% electricity capacity upgrade discount is available until January 15, 2025. Customers can submit their upgrade requests through the PLN Mobile app, at service counters, or at PLN offices.

“This program is a form of appreciation and an opportunity for customers to experience more convenient electricity use at the beginning of 2025,” Edi added.
He also emphasized that the promotion is designed to provide convenience for customers, encouraging them to take full advantage of this opportunity.
