Jakarta – The price of 24-karat gold from Antam Precious Metals has dropped today, Saturday (January 4, 2025), after two days of increases. The price per gram has decreased by IDR 4,000 compared to yesterday, settling at IDR 1,539,000 per gram.
Quoting the official website of Antam Precious Metals, the smallest gold bar size of 0.5 grams is now priced at IDR 819,500. Meanwhile, a 10-gram gold bar is sold for IDR 14,885,000, and the largest size, 1,000 grams (1 kg), is priced at IDR 1,479,600,000.
Over the past week, Antam gold prices have fluctuated between IDR 1,515,000 and IDR 1,543,000 per gram. Over the past month, prices have ranged between IDR 1,503,000 and IDR 1,548,000.
The buyback price for Antam gold also dropped by IDR 4,000 per gram today, standing at IDR 1,388,000 per gram. The buyback price is the amount Antam will pay if you sell your gold to them.
According to the Ministry of Finance Regulation (PMK) Number 34 of 2017, the purchase of gold bars is subject to a 0.9% Income Tax (PPh 22). If you provide a Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP), the tax can be reduced to 0.45%.
