Jakarta – Artificial intelligence (AI) technology continues to break boundaries, transforming how we work, create, and envision the future of employment. Cameron Adams, Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer of Canva, predicts that 2025 will be a pivotal moment for AI—not only enriching artistic expression but also reshaping labor markets and redefining leadership concepts.
AI-Driven Creativity Boom
Adams foresees AI as a catalyst for a creativity explosion. Advanced and user-friendly AI tools will empower anyone, regardless of their background, to express themselves visually. Imagine a writer effortlessly visualizing storylines or characters using AI, or a graphic designer quickly refining their work with AI features.
“AI will democratize design and enhance creativity. User-friendly AI platforms will blur the line between technology and art, enabling more people to realize their creative visions,” Adams said.
Human-Machine Collaboration: A New Norm in the Workplace
Adams also highlighted how AI will transform work dynamics. By 2025, human-machine collaboration will become standard.
AI agents will assist in tasks like data collection, analysis, and report drafting, allowing humans to focus on more strategic work.
“The partnership between humans and AI will boost efficiency, accelerate decision-making, and make organizations more agile,” Adams explained.
Workforce Transformation and Emergence of New Professions
AI is expected to create entirely new job markets. Roles like AI Creative Director, Chief Ethical AI Officer, and Workflow Engineer are predicted to emerge.
Another intriguing future profession is AI Life System Coach, which trains AI coaches to enhance quality of life.
Leadership in the AI Era: More Human-Centric and Adaptive
Despite AI’s growing dominance, Adams emphasized the importance of a human touch in leadership. Future leaders must build strong teams, foster creativity, and adapt quickly to technological changes.
“Leaders must blend human intelligence with AI capabilities to tackle challenges and drive transformation,” Adams stated.
Workplace Design: Automation and Efficiency
In workplaces, design processes will become increasingly automated. AI will aid in creating consistent and impactful brand experiences. Visual communication will be faster and more affordable, allowing branding teams to focus on high-level strategies and creativity.
