Jakarta – Shell has adjusted its fuel prices as of January 3, 2025, despite having increased them just two days earlier.
The price for Shell Super, equivalent to Pertamax with RON 92, is now IDR 12,810 per liter, down from IDR 12,930 per liter—a reduction of IDR 120 per liter.
While Shell’s price is still higher than Pertamax, sold at IDR 12,500 per liter, and Vivo’s Revvo 92 at IDR 12,770 per liter, it matches the price of BP 92, which is also IDR 12,810 per liter.
Meanwhile, Shell V-Power now costs IDR 13,530 per liter, compared to its previous price of IDR 13,650 per liter—a drop of IDR 120 per liter.
Other Shell fuel types, such as V-Power Nitro+ and V-Power Diesel, have also seen price reductions. V-Power Nitro+ is now priced at IDR 13,730 per liter, down from IDR 13,850, while V-Power Diesel is now IDR 14,030 per liter, a reduction of IDR 120 per liter.
As a comparison, Pertamina’s nonsubsidized fuel prices in January 2025 rose between IDR 100 and IDR 400 per liter. For example, Pertamax increased from IDR 12,100 to IDR 12,500 per liter, and Pertamax Green 95 is now priced at IDR 13,400, up from IDR 13,150 per liter. These prices remain competitive compared to other brands.
Similarly, Vivo’s Revvo 90 increased by IDR 636 per liter, while Revvo 92 rose by IDR 547 per liter. BP also raised its BP 92 price by IDR 520 per liter and BP Ultimate by IDR 190 per liter.
