Jakarta – The price of 24-carat gold from Antam Precious Metals, Thursday (16/1/2025), has soared to an all-time high. Gold prices today rose by IDR 13,000 per gram, reaching a level of IDR 1,577,000 per gram.
According to the official website of Antam Precious Metals, the smallest unit of gold at 0.5 grams is now priced at IDR 838,500. Meanwhile, 10 grams of gold is sold for IDR 15,265,000, and the largest size, 1,000 grams (1 kg), is priced at IDR 1,517,600,000.
In the past week, Antam gold prices have been moving in the range of IDR 1,546,000 to IDR 1,577,000 per gram. Over the past month, gold prices ranged from IDR 1,505,000 to IDR 1,577,000.
Meanwhile, the buyback price for Antam gold also rose by IDR 13,000 per gram to IDR 1,423,000 per gram. The buyback price is the rate at which Antam will purchase gold from sellers.
In accordance with Ministry of Finance Regulation (PMK) Number 34 of 2017, gold bar purchases are subject to a 0.9% income tax (PPh 22). If a Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) is provided, the tax rate can be reduced to 0.45%.
