Jakarta – The Script’s drummer, Glen Power, will be absent from the band’s tour in Asia and Australia due to personal matters.
This announcement was shared by The Script on their social media, as seen by detikpop on Friday (January 17, 2025).
“For personal reasons, Glen will not be joining the performances in Australia and Asia for The Satellites World Tour. Danny (the vocalist) will continue the tour in Australia and proceed to Asia. Thank you for your understanding and support. See you soon,” read the post.
Don’t worry, though—fans planning to attend The Script’s concert on February 14 in Jakarta can still look forward to an amazing show.
The concert will open with a special performance from Hoobastank, known for hit songs like The Reason.
For your information, The Script is comprised of Danny O’Donoghue as the vocalist and Glen Power as the drummer.
Their former guitarist, Mark Sheehan, passed away in 2023 due to an undisclosed illness.
