Jakarta – President Prabowo has arrived in New Delhi. Getting off the plane, Prabowo was greeted by a 6.5-meter-long limousine.
The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, has arrived at Air Force Station (AFS) Palam, New Delhi, Republic of India, on Thursday night, January 23, 2025. The plane carrying the Head of State and a limited entourage landed around 10:30 PM local time.
At the foot of the airplane stairs, welcoming President Prabowo’s arrival were the Indian Minister of External Affairs Pabitra Margherita, the Indian Ambassador to the Republic of Indonesia Sandeep Chakravorty, the Indonesian Ambassador in New Delhi Ina Krisnamurthi, and the Defense Attaché of the Indonesian Embassy in New Delhi Rear Admiral Ardiansyah Muqsit. This visit to India marks a new chapter in bilateral relations, while also commemorating 75 years of diplomatic cooperation between Indonesia and India.
Prabowo has also been picked up by the Mercedes-Maybach S600 Pullman Guard as seen in the front design, wheels, and rear. As seen by detikOto on the YouTube channel of the Presidential Secretariat, the black car is adorned with the flags of Indonesia and India on its hood. Speaking of the Maybach, Prabowo has used that limousine on several occasions during his trips abroad.

Quoted by Business Insider, Maybach is indeed identified with extraordinary design, strength, and luxury. This limousine is armored and has resistance to bullet attacks. When it was first released in 2017, this car was priced at USD 1.57 million or around IDR 25 billion when converted to rupiah at the current exchange rate. (1 USD = Rp 16,223).
This limousine is about 6.5 meters long. Pullman Guard weighs more than 5.5 tons. This car is powered by a 6.0 L V12 engine that can produce 530 horsepower. The armored protection includes steel protection panels integrated into the body. The floor is armored to protect passengers from bomb blasts. In addition, the windows also have thick laminations and are coated with polycarbonate. According to Mercedes, the Pullman Guard has VR9 resistance certification and is blast-resistant to meet ERV2010 standards.
Inside, it’s very luxurious. Passengers can enjoy spacious legroom like being in a private jet and reclining seats. The cabin also has rear-facing seats, making it possible to hold meetings throughout the journey.
