Jakarta – The Indonesian Survey Institute (LSI) has released the results of a public satisfaction survey regarding the performance of ministers in the cabinet of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka. The results show that Minister of Religious Affairs Nasaruddin Umar was ranked as the most satisfactory minister, according to respondents.
The survey was conducted from January 20–28, 2025, involving 1,220 randomly selected respondents. The survey targeted Indonesian citizens aged 17 and above or those who are married.
The sample selection was carried out using multistage random sampling. The margin of error is ±2.9% with a confidence level of 95%. The survey also included quality control measures for the interview results.
LSI Executive Director Djayadi Hanan presented the survey results on the satisfaction levels with Prabowo’s cabinet ministers. The results revealed that Nasaruddin Umar had the highest satisfaction rating among respondents, with a percentage of 92.9%.
“The highest satisfaction level is with Nasaruddin Umar, the Minister of Religious Affairs. As far as I remember, Mr. Nasaruddin Umar’s popularity is around 38% or 39%,” said Djayadi during a virtual press conference on LSI’s YouTube channel, Wednesday (February 5, 2025).
Djayadi explained that in second place is the Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, Abdul Mu’ti, with a satisfaction rate of 91.5%. In third place is Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.
“Then Mr. Abdul Mu’ti, with a satisfaction level of 91%, followed by Mr. Teddy at 90.9%, then Mrs. Sri Mulyani, the Minister of Finance, followed by the Minister of Agriculture, and the Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (MenPAN-RB). Their satisfaction levels are high among those who are familiar with them,” Djayadi said.
