Badung – A brawl broke out at Finns Beach Club Bali between a group of foreigners and four security guards. The foreigners attacked the security personnel, leaving them with serious injuries.
The incident occurred on Tuesday (Feb 11, 2025). Badung Police Public Relations Officer Ipda Putu Sukarma stated that the security guards received medical treatment following the incident.
One of the victims, KBYD, suffered severe facial injuries, including a broken lower tooth, bleeding nose, and a laceration on the back of the head.
“They have been treated at Hydro Clinic in Tegal Gundul, Tibubeneng,” Sukarma explained on Wednesday (Feb 12, 2025).
Other injured security guards included:
- GDW, who sustained swelling behind the left ear and abrasions on the cheek.
- LR, who suffered a bite wound on his left hand and abrasions on his elbow.
- GNAS, who had bruising on his right cheek.
In addition to the four victims, another security guard, WAJ, was also involved in the altercation. He was one of the security personnel who witnessed the foreigners causing trouble inside the club.
WAJ and other security staff attempted to intervene, but the foreign guests refused to comply.
“Security at the venue saw one of the suspected attackers strangling another guest seated at a different table. The altercation was reportedly sparked by a dispute over a woman. Security attempted to break it up,” Sukarma explained.
The security team tried to restore order by escorting the unruly guests out of Finns Beach Club. The foreigners were led out of the area to prevent further disturbances. However, one of the foreigners resisted and started attacking the security guards in the parking area.
Sukarma added that GDW witnessed the aggressive foreigner resisting. GDW then attempted to restrain him to prevent further chaos.
Suddenly, four other foreigners arrived and started attacking him and the other security personnel. After brutally assaulting the security guards, the group of unidentified foreigners fled north towards Jalan Pantai Berawa.
The incident went viral on social media after being captured on video by bystanders. In the footage, a group of foreigners can be seen fighting security guards in front of Finns Beach Club on Tuesday (Feb 11, 2025), around 9:47 PM WITA.
