BTS’ Jungkook Releases Song “3D” Collaborating with Jack Harlow

BTS member Jungkook officially released his latest solo song, on Friday (29/9), titled “3D” in collaboration with rapper Jack Harlow.

“‘3D’ is a song that will get you interested before you know it. I thought it was a really fun song when I first heard it. I’m ready to show another side of myself that I haven’t shown in ‘Seven’,” Jungkook said, broadcast by People page, Friday (9/29) local time.

The song “3D” was produced by Bloodpop, who has worked with Lady Gaga Justin Bieber, and David Stewart. Previously, Stewart had worked with BTS on the production of one of their hit songs titled “Dynamite”.

In the music video for “3D”, there is a nostalgic atmosphere as Jungkook choreographs with a crew of dancers in an all-denim ensemble. Jack Harlow, performed two verses (in the song) showing how charismatic he is towards women. He also worked with the K-Pop star on the music video visuals.

“He’s a great artist that I love and have been following for some time. I’m very happy to work with him. His voice fits perfectly with ‘3D’ and adds a sensual feel to the song,” Jungkook added.

The song “3D” was officially released a few months after Jungkook teamed up with rapper Latto for his debut solo song “Seven” in July. The singer had said he “felt a little pressure” to release the follow-up song.

He explained that the success of “Seven,” which made him the first BTS member to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Global Charts, gave him a “boost of courage to take on new challenges.

Following the song’s release, the youngest BTS member performed the song live on “Good Morning America.

The song “Seven” itself marks his official solo debut as a solo artist. However, Jungkook has previously released three solo songs in the BTS discography, namely “Begin” (2016), “Euphoria” (2018), and “My Time” (2020).
