South Korean actor Choi Hyun-wook turned down an offer to star in director Lee Eung Bok’s new drama, “My Relationship That I Also Oppose” (tentative title).

“Choi Hyun-wook indeed received an offer to star in the new drama ‘My Relationship That I Also Oppose’. But, we respectfully rejected it because the schedule does not match,” a source from the agency GOLDMEDALIST said as broadcast by Soompi on Monday.

“My Relationship That I Also Oppose” revolves around a reunion with an ex is a continuation of a close relationship or the beginning of an unknown relationship. The drama is expected to connect viewers through the theme of reuniting first love.

Choi Hyun-wook previously captivated audiences through “Taxi Driver,” “Racket Boys,” “Twenty-Five, Twenty-One,” “Weak Hero Class 1,” and “D.P.” Season 2.

Currently, he is participating in the drama “Twinkling Watermelon.”

Meanwhile, Lee Eung-Bok previously directed several popular dramas including “Descendants of the Sun,” “Guardian: The Lonely and Great God,” “Mr. Sunshine,” “Sweet Home” and “Jirisan.”

Back in September, actors Go Min-si and Choi Hyun-wook were rumored to be in talks for the drama “My Relationship That I Also Oppose”.
