Two trains, KA Turangga and the Bandung Raya local, collided near the Cicalengka and Haurpugur Stations at 06.53 WIB. They confirmed the loss of three lives: the engineer and assistant engineer of the Bandung Raya local train, and a steward from KA Turangga.

This crash affected not only the victims’ families but also disrupted travel for thousands. The authorities had to close the Haurpugur-Cicalengka line for evacuation and repairs. Consequently, this caused delays and rerouting, extending travel times by 2-3 hours.
