James Wan Returns to Produce the Latest Horror Film “Night Swim”

The producer of the horror film “The Conjuring”, James Wan, returned to spook the audience by producing a film called “Night Swim”.

As reported by Hollywood on Wednesday, the film is being worked on with Jason Blum, head of the Blumhouse Production house.

James Wan, best known for his work on “Saw” and “The Conjuring”, runs Atomic Monster Productions, while Jason Blum, is behind “Sinister and Get Out”.

The last time they worked together was on the 2010 horror film “Insidious”, whose fourth sequel was released earlier this year.

In “Night Swim”, these two legendaries (producers) are working on delivering a next-level horror experience and the terrors are sure to continue.

Reportedly, Atomic Monster and Blumhouse are in advanced talks for a merger. The two big production companies are planning to produce eight movies a year together.

Some big names will play the lead in this horror movie. Among them is actor Wyatt Russell who is best known for his work in Marvel’s “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier”. While Kerry Condon has just finished his Oscar-nominated performance in “The Banshees of Inisherin”.

Another cast member who will complete the storyline is Amélie Hoeferle who is known for her roles in “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes”, Megalyn Echikunwoke (Night School Weathering), and Jodi Long (Cafe Americain, Sullivan, and Son).

Quoted from IMDb, “Night Swim” is a feature-length film adapted from a previous short film in 2014. In brief, the film tells the story of a woman swimming in her pool at night who is terrorized by an evil spirit.

The movie will be released on January 5, 2024.
